USC has landed a commitment from four-star 2026 offensive tackle Esun Tafa this afternoon. The Trojans have been making a strong push in recent weeks and eventually that led Tafa to back off his previous pledge to Washington back in February. Now he becomes the 14th member of what is becoming a strong recruiting class for the Trojans and continues to rank first nationally in the 2026 cycle.

The Trojans had Tafa on campus last week following his performance at the Rivals Camp stop in LA, and that trip ultimately sealed things for USC and Zach Hanson. Coach Dogg also played a part in getting Tafa to the Trojans.

The next member of the Mosely Family to make his commitment has arrived at his decision today with four-star receiver Trent Mosely announcing his pledge to USC on social media. The 5-foot-10 prospect from Santa Margarita Catholic is the ninth in-state commitment for the Trojans in the 2026 cycle. He currently ranks No. 165 overall in the Rivals250 and holds offers from programs such as Georgia, Michigan, Notre Dame, Alabama, Oregon, Tennessee and Stanford, where his brother Emmett plays.

Lincoln Riley's program now sits at 13 commitments in the class.

Ryan, Question about the OL kid Vlad

I was watching some of his film recently when I think he may have been at ELAC. What was pretty noticeable was that some of the stronger and bigger DL guys that were rushing, he had a hard time holding his ground. There will obviously be plays and times the DL guys will get the better of the OL guys, however I did not see it as much with some of the other bigger and heavier OL kids. SO my questions is do you think a lot of that will change once he specifically adds good weight to his body. As of now he is listed as 270 so 35-45 pounds added with strength should be the #1 factor? Or is he a big project and needs a lot of coaching to get him there.
