If Oklahoma tight end Taylor McNamara does indeed graduate this spring and then transfer to USC in the summer, he would be eligible to play immediately. He also would count against USC's 2016 class.
Technically, McNamara would have to blueshirt (i.e. walk-on and then receive a scholarship after the first day of fall camp).
USC was already planning to use blueshirts for Anaheim Servite OL Clayton Johnston and Gardena Serra WR Deontay Burnett. It makes you wonder if the Trojans would want to occupy three slots from next year's class. Stay tuned.
