Adoree' competed in the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation (MPSF) Indoor Championships held last weekend in Seattle. He competed in three events. These are the results. 60m 6.77, 4th place. Long jump 7.66m (25' 1.75") 2nd place. The 4x400m relay 3:07.32, 1st place. The USC men finished in 1st place with 90.50 points ahead of BYU (82) and UCLA (73). Adoree' helped account for 23 of our points. The USC women finished in 3rd place (59) behind Oregon (108) and Stanford (73.75).
Adoree' has work do to even think about qualifying for the American Olympic Team. Based on the past performances other Americans and taking into account everyone ahead of him in the U.S. rankings having a subpar day, he'll have to jump in the vicinity of 8.30m (27' 2.5") at a minimum to have a shot at one of 3 places on the team. He has to improve about 2 feet (0.61m) in the next 4 months to have a shot. The Olympic Trials are in Eugene, July 1-10. Good luck and Fight On!
