I can't remember who said it but they recalled that Saban only had one sign in the locker room: JUST DO YOUR JOB. This was an all encompassing statement for each player because the job was defined in detail and included many attributes: Work in the weight room, body weight, attendance at meetings, running, etc. were specifically defined for each player. I'm sure this is obvious to most of you on this site because it seems so practical as a coaching tool. I'm curious if this strikes any of you as genius or if you have stories about this approach.
