Don't be surprised if one of the next prospects from the South to emerge as an 'SC target is Malcolm Askew, a Rivals100 to Watch (2017) athlete from Alabama. Many of the nation's top problems have already offered but the Trojans have not. That could change soon. Someone close to Askew's camp told me that USC has laid the groundwork to get involved in his recruitment. They're not going to cast a wide net down in that part of the country but if they find a player that fits what they want and would be a good fit, then he can be part of a targeted approach. Alabama is a major player in Askew's recruitment early, and that's no surprise.
