great job Herman has done . He is in my mind probably the best young guy out there. Is employing to a T the program that Urban has created and been successful with. Bringing Houston back ( trust me, the high roller Austin Country Club Horn boosters will do whatever they can to sidetrack his train)to the Bill Yeoman years of success( for those of you old enough to remember those years and Warren McVea) I would have volunteered to pick him up at the airport and driven by rickshaw if necessary to interview with the SC brass.
However, read the quotes of the Houston players after the game. Guys, try as I am sure Jimbo did, the Seminole team had no interest( see Usc v Georgia TechSun Bowl-Alabama-Utah Sugar Oklahoma-Boise Fiesta, etc. etc. etc.)
The Noles would rather have been anywhere else.I just wish it had been an item coach for Houston with Herman at SC.
