but I just finished rewatching the game and I have the same opinion that I had last night. IF SC’s Oline was a little better we win by 2 Td’s. The 1st 3 drives pretty much set the tone of the game.
1st drive: on the 3rd play of the game Burnett catches a ball for a 1st down and fumbles to give the ball to OSU at the 19 yard line.
2nd drive: Sc is marching and on 3rd down the ref miss an easy PI that if called gives SC a 1st down inside the 30 yard line.
OSU then loses 6 yards on offense.
3rd drive; SC driving again and Darnold completes a Pass to burnett down to the 26 yard line but is ruled incomplete. I think it was complete because the ball was ripped out after he was on the ground but oh well.
And the 4th drive: pick 6. Boom 17-0
Couldn’t have been a worse start to the game but SC hung in there and if Sam had some time to pass I think we win pretty easily. OSU couldnt move the ball at all.
