Media Day is a time for programs to look forward, to put the best spin on the season ahead. But for Clay Helton, it was also a time to candidly reflect back and discuss his approach to the offseason and spring.
There is a viable roadmap for USC to deliver a significant bounce-back season, but there is also an unknown variable we won't be able to discern until the games start -- whether Helton has truly identified and solved the underlying issues of last fall.
