The biggest problem has been Helton's crappy offense. With weapons upon weapons the offense had been one of the bottom in the PAC 12. Which is no surprise because he's not a good offensive coordinator. So it's a very good thing that he's going to step aside and let someone else call plays. But that does beg the question, what is he good at? Being a manager type head coach? Ummm, he's 5-3 on the year so that ain't it. So what then? What is he exceptional at such that he gets a 5 year contract at at top 5 power? He's good at catering to Haden's ego but should that be enough? Apparently so.
