2017 WR Derrick Smith tweeted out that he was committed to USC but has since deleted the tweet.
USC offered a scholarship to the three-star WR from Trinity Christian HS in Jacksonville, Fla. yesterday.
When TrojanSports.com asked a source inside USC's football program about Smith's commitment, we were told "No not real."
Mike Singer then caught up with Smith who said he decided to commit to USC, but he said he hasn't spoken to a member of the coaching staff yet.
