One pundit had an interesting take on why the protestors tried to stop the ambulance carrying the wounded (ambushed) policemen into the hospital. She said two major elements used by some professional instigators in that group were fear and incitement.

We have seen fear strike a chord like Coronavirus as fear of death. Others generate a reaction package. Hate is a prime element here- and the (professional?) inciter creates a target that is the aim of that hate, rational or irrational.

Nothing new here, Trump has been that target politically daily since election day. The police are often a misdirected target of that for frustration and often stoked by throwing 'Racism' into the fray, even though it may not be there. For instance a police car doing no offensive action becomes the 'hate' object EVEN after they are the critically injured victims. 'Let them all die' was likely used by certain instigators (BLM?) to give it a voice for all those hearing it on MSM- pro or anti. The result can also be a repulsive reaction by those hearing such words and generating their own reactions- perhaps by hate in return. Is this what people want, or will they recognize being used?

What the average guy does fear, in a recent poll, was job loss (unemployment), Coronavirus (deadly consequences) and Crime and Violence (also potentially deadly). All of these have been made a political tool.
