Notes and observations from Tuesday's practice...
USC was in shells and shorts today. Practice lasted about 2.5 hours.
Punt returners included Adoree' Jackson and Jack Jones.
Something worth noting: Chris Tilbey has been punting better of late.
Matt Boermeester, who's carried a greater workload recently with Michael Brown sidelined by a quad injury, attempted just three field goals today and went 1 of 3. Reid Budrovich, who's competing with Tilbey to be the punter, made 5 of 6 attempts.

Browne is pressured by Houston and short-arms a pass to Greene.
Browne, facing a blitz, quickly throws it away.

Browne, back with the ones but facing the third-team D, connects with De'Quan Hampton, only Hampton has the ball stripped away and walk-on DB Kevin Carrasco comes up with it. The ball never touched the ground, so I'm not sure if that was a fumble or interception. It was really on Hampton either way, and he soon finds himself running a lap.

Browne hits Rogers, who delivers a stiff arm to Keyshawn Young, the two get tangled up and have to be separated.

Matt Fink gets the final reps to close out practice. His last throw is intended for Trevon Sidney and Adoree' picks it off. That's Adoree's third INT in camp, which is more than what he's produced in previous camps. He's had quite a few close calls as well.

Damien Mama continues to get a lot of the first-team reps at left guard. Chris Brown joined E.J. Price, Jordan Simmons, Nico Falah and Nathan Smith on the second team O-line.
Matt Lopes was the third safety, along with Chris Hawkins and Leon McQuay, when USC was in nickel. The three D-linemen were Rasheem Green, Malik Dorton and Stevie Tu'ikolovatu. Jack Jones, Ajene Harris and Jonathan Lockett were the primary second-team CBs today. The D-line featured Rodgers and Rector for the nickel package. OLB Don Hill is also getting more work with the second team.
