While it is the day before Thanksgiving I thought I would wish all of you on this board a very Happy Thanksgiving - to all of you and your families. While most of the posts these days are about a new coach - "who will it be, no it can't be him, it better not be so and so", it is quite a gift so to speak, that yes on Saturday we will be playing our rival for yes - the Pac 12 South title. Who would have thought this just a few weeks ago. And, for all the talk about a new coach, and of course we do want a great one who will take the team going forward and return it to its greatness of yesterday, as the saying goes "This too will pass". And as I respond, "we all hope so".
It will!
And, for me during this year, while I read the different posts on this site whether football or OT related, there is one thing that brings us all here - USC as the school we attended and/or USC the football team we love. We do not all agree on all topics, but isn't it nice we can come to this site and talk about USC and other world related topics whether it be politics, economics, etc., some of which we might not be able to discuss with family co-workers or friends for whatever reasons. And, while we might not always agree (that is certainly true) we certainly do get a plethora of ideas on which to ponder, that challenges our thoughts and beliefs and on occasion leads to a new perspective or take on a particular topic. How great is that!
Anyway, tomorrow be thankful for what we do have, rather than what we do not. The glass half full is always better than one half empty.
Happy Thanksgiving, Fight On, and Beat the Bruins!
