I made the point before but want to reiterate it again: There is a chance Graham Harrell will prove to be a massive upgrade over Tee Martin. Consider this comment from new Green Bay Packers head coach Matt LaFleur on coaching Aaron Rodgers:
"I know that I need to be in that room, especially as much as I possibly can because I am going to be the play-caller. I think that relationship between the play-caller and the quarterback is absolutely critical. So I will be in there as much as I can. I don't foresee ever missing a quarterback meeting."
Martin, in contrast, coached the wide receivers and we might never know how responsible he was for the play calls. I'll never forget when he spoke of "a communication gap" with Sam Darnold because the two didn't spend much time together.
Harrell, which I explained here, will essentially be the Trojans' first OC/play-caller/QBs coach in a decade.
