A couple of things that I notice (and that's with the good plays):
  • Offensive line: With pass protection, you definitely see some of the following:
    • Poor feet;
    • Lunging at defenders and whiffing (this applies to the backs too);
    • Inability to hold blocks in a number of cases.
  • Receivers:
    • I think that the blocking assignment recognition was poor by Rogers on the Burnett TD.
    • IMHO, both Rogers and JuJu lack explosiveness at the launch point, but they are strong and will need to make their money out-muscling defenders to get open and counting on their soft hands. This suggests to me that we need the QB to be zipping passes out there to take advantage of the little windows of opportunity.
  • QBs:
    • It looks like they are generally making one read;
    • Darnold's throw at 2:15 was absolutely AMAZING. I truly think that Darnold is the more compatible QB for JuJu and Rogers.
