he kind of has a way of putting sam darnold down. backhanded compliments. he said it at half time and then again after the game. something to effect of "if you put a lot pressure on sam, he won't play that well", urban, that is true of all qb's. even aaron rodgers would have had issues tonight. their d did get to sam a lot, but sam still threw for 356 mr meyer. we just could not run the ball and they did have a very good good pass rush. to me, osu did not stop sam. they stopped the run game which led to a lot of third and longs where they get a good pass rush on usc.
