This might be a reach but worth throwing out there. Velus Jones attends Saraland H.S. and as I've said the school doesn't produce much talent relative to the top football factors in Mobile County. But the school's 2018 quarterback, Jack West, just picked up offers from Mississippi State and Southern Miss. I know some of you expect 'SC to aim higher especially at the QB position but any offers for a high school freshman quarterback, where evaluation is so crucial and taken so seriously, is enough to prompt a closer look.
