Seems to me that the new wave of football, the hurry up -- the 80+ offense snaps per game -- is going to render red-shirting almost useless. If USC is successful with Sark's plan then almost everyone on scholarship is highly likely to play and lose their eligibility to red-shirt. This plays right into USC's recruiting spiel" "Go to USC and play now" because not only will we continue to get the best players because we are a football icon we will get even more of them because they will not have to make their decision to come to USC based on our depth chart. We will get more and more and more of them.

I think this is where we are going and players like JuJu and Adore are three-and-done every time. I'd get used to it. We are not going to keep the good ones from Sunday League but we will have equal replacements that are not going to be sitting on the bench anymore. I hope this works... seems to have done well in Waco and Eugene...

Allow me to save my little fantasy until Sunday... then we'll talk again.
