Offer Jon Gruden whatever it takes. Lmao. Really...because he won a Super Bowl 10 years ago and hasn't coached in 8 years. Why not put Bill B on the list. He must be bored with winning in New England and want to coddle 18 year olds to play for him. Lol. Let's add Saban & Urbie. I'm sure they have contracts that allow them to do whatever they want. GET F'iNG REAL.

A great AD would have the details of every top coach and assistant on their target list with the year they have opportunities to get out of their contract. I would bet my house Haden is not one of these connected AD's who has this info as evidenced by his selections. For someone so smart and successful it's baffling how bad his decisions have been on judging coaching talent. My wife could have done better.

I just pray they get a proven winner who other assistants respect and my choice is a defensive minded coach that has developed talent. From everything I have gathered Lane & Sark weren't highly thought of and had a limited Rolodex of contacts thus the weak staffs.Since I don't believe we will get a grand slam hire then give the coach a HUGE budget to assemble the best staff possible. That's almost as good as getting the bomb. If he wants to copy Pete, copy Pete in the early days when he had solid coordinators and "coaches" who know how to develop talent. Personally, I want the next Hudson Houck to groom the Oline.

If we do this then we will be successful IMO
