One day removed from being listed as the top overall defensive performer at B2G from his cornerback position Jack Jones told me today that USC's coaches still haven't come by his school during this evaluation period. They were supposed to on the first day they were able to, if you'll recall, bu Jones was preoccupied so they backed off that date. Jones said he "thinks" Nansen should be coming sometime this week but that's not final. He also said they haven't been in a lot of contact, although they're "still in it just like everyone else."
Of course, initially this year Jones had a top five that didn't include 'SC. But he quickly backed off that and said they're still in the running. Just worth noting that while Jones may have warmed back up a bit to the Trojans it's not like they're talking every day. He doesn't seem to be in a rush at all.
