The first notable injury of camp may have happened Monday as senior linebacker Jordan Iosefa went down during a team run period. I didn't see how it happened as there were a lot of bodies slamming together, but he stayed down for a while before later walking very slowly and in obvious pain to the sideline.
"Right now he's got a lower body injury. They'll look at it tonight -- he's got a knee. We'll see how it is. They'll MRI it tonight," Clay Helton said.
Iosefa has been working behind John Houston at middle linebacker. Freshman Ralen Goforth is next on the depth chart there, but certainly if it came to it the Trojans have options like moving Palaie Gaoteote back there, etc.
