The very first day USC's coaches hit the road it was Chris Wilcox going to check on Lamar Winston. In another thread I posted that I had heard that 'SC visited some Oregon schools today. I just spoke with Winston and he confirmed that Sirmon and Heyward did indeed visit his school today. It's Sirmon that talks to him more than anyone else and they've got a strong bond, probably communicating every other day on par.
Winston acknowledged that Oregon is slightly ahead of the rest of the field just because he was so impressed on his visit there. But I think USC and Washington are still very much in the mix and the July visit he's expecting to make to 'SC could be the game changer they're looking for. He is not a Duck lock although they're running strong with him.
