Lots of crazy talk on this board about firing or changing coaches now during the season. Well it's too late boys to change coaches. You may shuffle them around like deck chairs on the Titanic, but the ship has sailed and our fate is sealed.
Where are you going to get them from, the unemployment lines or out of their rocking chairs? Maybe pull them out of the bars or whore houses? Oh yeah, we tried that already. How about a multimillion dollar executive search? Oh yeah, did that too. We had to reach into the high school ranks the way it was to get Connelly. How's that working out? Do you actually think contracted college or pro coaches are just going to walk away from their current employment during the season no less, to come to this shitfest? No we are stuck with the hand Pat dealt us.
So maybe this time we shouldn't try this discount coach route or looking for a coach with USC ties. Maybe this time we should pay Corn Ferry $10M just out of curiosity to see what's behind door #3.
Better yet maybe this time we should pay Pat to leave, tell Korn Ferry to Fvck off, hire Oliver Luck as AD and let him find us a coach who's qualified to handle the job of coaching the greatest college football program of all time, the legendary USC Trojans.
