According to Mike Farrell he is. In Farrell's article series "Farrell's QB Verdict" deeming the #1 QB's in each class either Booms or Busts, he tagged Jimmy Clausen a BOOM and Matt Barkley a BUST.
Farrell is a complete JOKE (I know, nothing new). I never really agreed or believed that Farrell was anti-SC but I'm now convinced. Let's take a look at Matt Barkley's career at SC which consisted of 3 sanctioned seasons.

Of course, Pryor was good on his feet adding over 2,100 yards and 17 TD's on the ground. Barkley notched 6 rushing TD's and Clausen had 4. However, I think it's insane that he tagged Barkley a BUST while calling Pryor and Clausen BOOMS. None have done much in the NFL but College stats alone, Barkley is head and shoulders above the other two. Even if you scratch Barkley's SR year stats he would still be ahead of Clausen and Pryor with 86 total TD's and 9,054 passing yards. At least he nudged Mark Sanchez onto his BOOM list.
