Say what you will about Jim Harbaugh, but the guy fights for his recruits.

Apparently, he actually throws down with them, too.

Last month, 247Sports' No. 1-ranked kicker Quinn Nordin said the Michigan head coach offered to come to his house at 12:01 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 15 (the earliest the NCAA rules allowed), watch a movie and then sleep over.

Now, we have an even better Harbaugh story: He wrestled a kid:

2017 DT Phillip Paea (MI) just told me that he and #Michigan HC Jim Harbaugh had a wrestling match during his visit Wednesday night.

Phillip Paea, a 3-star defensive tackle, was touring the campus Wednesday when the Wolverines took on Northwestern in hoops. That’s when Harbaugh, who was at WWE Raw in Detroit on Monday, took it to the mat.

"(Harbaugh) was real interesting," Paea told SB Nation’s Brandon Justice. "We actually wrestled for a little bit. He's definitely one coach you won't find at any other school."

According to 247Sports, Paea stands 6’4” and weighs in at 285 pounds.

Somehow, though, he told Justice that Harbaugh won the match.
