If anyone wants a preview of the "Green new deal" I submit one state- California. The state that WSJ just said " California is an early glimpse for the rest of the country of a blackout- rolling, water- deprived, tax -hiking, spending- spiking one party state". Whew that says it all.
Lets dote on one of these- Energy. The rush to alternate energy- fully 30% within a few years means that the alternative, less efficient and weather affected ( no wind or non sunny day) means that the gap from former fueled sources has to be made up, especially on high energy usage days. Cal siphons off more $$$$ energy from other nearby states. What happens if the New Green deal is passed by "Progressives"? No excess to cover these situations and even higher expense energy and more blackouts. Misery loves company.
How about those elites? Speaker of the house Nancy Pelosi part of the Elite corps that saw no problem in showing off her pair of $20K ice cream freezers now has been filmed getting her hair done in a salon wearing no masks while other woman (and men) are going shaggy. And speaking of Elite, off the charts weird NYC mayor Bill DeBlasio now says that a wealth tax (e.g. middle class and up?) is reasonable- probably to pay for his city emptying mistakes. File this with the Cal Democrat Rep that wants to tax people for 10 years AFTER they leave California.
These are just a few examples of what our unchecked Officials are doing.
BTW one of the Pelosi endorsed Kennedys lost to an incumbent progressive for the first time in forever in Mass. However another AOC backed progressive was beaten soundly.
