It may come as a surprise, and maybe even some disappointment, but I sent in an official statement of withdrawal to Pat Haden's staff earlier this afternoon. It's just a job that will require too much time away from family and other interests. USC is considering lots of great candidates from the sound of it, so I am hopeful a great hire will be made!
