With a 14-13 lead late in the 3rd quarter....Utah just gave up a safety...on a KO return....someone apparently thot it was a good idea to take the KO in the end zone and throw a cross field lateral....
Too cute (and just plain stupid) to begin with....
But when u have guys doing stupid things they don't ordinarily do....and they throw an illegal forward pass out of their own end zone.....it costs u 2pts and u have to punt from your own 20....
Now, after the resulting FG, asu leads 18-14 becuz the Utah coach got too cute and too stupid.
