Don't climb off of the moral high ground and throw petty insults. Just thank her for her compassion but point out that 1) she lives in a fantasy world and isn't burdened by real-world practical governance, 2) She's gaslighting and feeding into this hysteria that LGBTQ people have something to fear, thus creating division.
