OT-Academic Awards Season Begins for SC Students

Through the year announcements are made regarding the top national student academic awards. Most are announced in the spring semester. It is the beginning of the award season and here is an update:

Awards:
Marshall Scholars
2 out of 32 selected in 2016

Gilman Scholars
11 were chosen for the 2016 spring semester

Carson Hall of Fame Scholars (New Award)
1 selected

Fulbright Semi-finalists
Fulbright final recipients are named over a period of time later this year
SC has 31 semi-finalists

Announcements will be made soon regarding Truman, Boren, Pew, Rhodes, Tilman, Astronaut and Schweitzer scholarships/fellowships.
