my friends and I are all in our 60's now. As our children have left the house , some guys retired, we have more time to see each other. Guys come in from out of town and we get together for some drinks and lies at a bar owned by another friend we grew up with. As with most of us in our group, after college, as we worked and raised our children, time at bars etc. was not something we did, although a few did manage to do so.

As I began to get together again, I noticed one friend, a notoriously tight wad guy, never spending squat when we went out. Years of going to this bar, he has a large family who the owner knows, so he usually drinks for free. But when friends come around- I believe you buy a round. Actually saw him this past week put a 20 on the bar, then when no one was looking , pulled it back to 3 fives, then pulled that back to 3 ones. I thought this was honed over years. This guy never has you over- freely will come to your house to drink and even Weisled out of our Super Bowl party rotation this year.

Cries about money. Is a retired state worker and complained this year when the Governor required him to contribute a small amount to his wif'e's health coverage- which both get- him free- for life.

Any advice.
