A recent study by research doctors from Florida State conducted mri's and brain analysis of many deceased nfl players and 40 living retired nfl players. Results were that many of the deceased and 43% of still living had brain damage.
Results show objective evidence of concussions causing traumatic brain injury, which leads to Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy (CTE), a degenerative brain decease.

Thinking skills were found to be impaired. Also there was attention deficit on a large percentage.

Colder days have been determined to be more conducive to a concussion.

A persistent concern in my mind, what if there was a study with soccer players continuously hitting the ball with their heads? There most be some level of damages. With the sport being so popular and played by millions of children, I wonder what could be a preventive answer.
