ND starting TE, Durham Smythe, will miss the remainder of the '15 season because of shoulder and knee surgeries. That makes FIVE starters lost for the season.
Smythe may not be a "key" starter as there are couple of young TE's waiting in the wings, but dayum they've experienced one helluva injury bug and we're only two games into the season.
