Got a call last Tuesday am we had 15 minutes to evacuate.
Grabbed the pets, wife, and house staff and left....
Fire came up the hill, took out a neighbors house. Firefighters stayed 14 hours up and down my block and saved all the other homes.
Allowed back in but still too smokey to stay.
Huge thank you to our firefighters.
When I can come back, planning to do some serious thank you's to the nearby stations.
For those of you who know the fear, anxiety, and sleepless nights, I send my love. IT's a huge mess.
