last night. It was painful to watch. Russell has a penchant for turnovers beyond belief. The Knicks looked more athletic and pushed the pace getting easy buckets against the non- existent defense. Randle hasn't looked anything like the reports coming out of practice that he's been a beast. Clarkson had his first bad game, but you have to excuse him for that cause he's been the lone bright spot. This team can't score consistently. They don't look explosive. A few years back, the Lakers groomed a hero from the past as coach in Kurt Rambis. I never thought he was much of a coach. Now, Mark Madsen seems to be on a similar track, because he looks overmatched as a coach as well. And I have to admit, I'm getting tired of seeing team owner Jeannie Buss fawning over Phil . TV kept showing them cozying up at court side. Somehow I don't think Jerry West would've been doing that lol. Anyways, I'd like to see some progress with these kids. Russell needs to play more under control. The Laker offenses look like a high school offense. Very basic and no purpose . There has been such an emphasis on "keeping up with Golden State" that there is no effort to go inside to the big men at all. It's all running around trying to chuck up 3"s. Do you guys have a different take on the first impressions of the kids?
