over Okafor? I know ALL signs point to going big and it makes most sense. BUT, watching DeAngelo's game, he seems to have that smoothness and fluidity to his game that the Lakers also need. Everyone says we need a dynamic PG. Of course, with the lack of talent the Lakers have, I am not sure who the PG would pass to. Still, Russell averaged 19 PPG in college and seems to be able to score, shoot 3's, and defend at 6'4. He seems to have the game we need that mirrors some of the guards in the Western Conference. Still, I am not sure is so dynamic and prolific that the Lakers can afford to pass on the less athletic Okafor who seems more of a good component to the rebuilding of the team moreso than a franchise player.
