mediocre big man. The league is full of teams with mediocrity at Center, space fillers that have little impact in a quarter let alone for a season or career. Okafor has strong potential for mediocrity, not saying he couldn't be great, just very unlikely. The idea that a team must go big when a big player is available is ridiculous. In the most perfect world, in hindsight and you had a chance at a healthy Sam Bowie OR a healthy Michael Jordan who would you take today? That is a big or small argument, yet I think everyone would take Jordan with no regret. When you have to work so hard to justify or make a case to convince yourself that Okafor is THE guy by making grand comparisons to a Shaq or Kareem or . . .Lets just say That Okafor is not, will not be either of those guys.
