My wife and I are going to take 3-4 micro trips (<5-days) inside the US in the next 60 days. All of our travel thus far has been "planned-out" so the notion of a "last-minute" destination/agenda is new to us.
For those that traveled "on the fly" often can you please provide the travel sites you're most comfortable with in booking these excursions. Also, I'd love to hear your short-trip recommendations from Ca to NY.
And just so you know, we're just as comfortable dining at a five-star restaurant as we are hiking, Zion's Angels Landing.
