Karen is a young Trojan female friend of our family having completed her undergrad at USC, as well as still attending USC, almost having finished up her masters degree, with a young child in tow, has lost her babies father to a senseless act of violence.
This young man Marquise Lawrence was busting his tail, working two jobs, in an EMT program, and aspiring to be a firefighter.
He was killed on this way home from work in broad daylight, in his car, as he waited at a stop sign by someone approaching in the opposite vehicle as they drove past him. They have yet to be apprehended. He leaves behind a one year old baby girl and fiancee.
