most people don’t know this but USC has both a Rugby and Rugby 7s club who had very successful seasons in 2022. The SC Rugby club finished their season 6-1 placing second in their conference, the highest ever for them.
While the SC Rugby 7s club who had a showcase in the Coliseum where they defeated ucla’s rugby 7s team a few weeks ago, placed second in a Invite Tournament allowing them a spot in the National 7s championship tournament in Atlanta GA May 14th (I believe the game will be aired on NBC or peacock).
Now because the team is a club team, they do need a little help getting to Atlanta. They put up a fundraising page and any bit of donations will help. I know most of us are football fans but we are also fans of SC as well as alumni. So if you guys can donate, it will greatly be appreciated. Fight on!
