Hey everyone,
My father passed away this morning after an eight year battle with cancer. As you all know, I was in Las Vegas for the Pylon event this weekend, so I'll be flying home tomorrow to start helping my family out with whatever needs to be done.
I just wanted to keep you guys up to date because I might not be around the board for some time. I'm skipping the podcast tomorrow but it'll still go up and Adam is working on securing some guests. I do plan to be at spring practice this week and the Rivals LA Camp this weekend but I can't commit to anything until I know what exactly needs to be done, the schedule for my dad's service and everything else.
Spring practices and the Rivals Camp will of course be covered, we'll produce content and report news, regardless of my presence at these events or on the board. We have a good sized and incredibly competent team, so I'm not worried about stepping away at all.
Thanks for understanding everyone and for my father, who received a Ph.D from USC, I'll say fight on! It's what my family is planning to do anyway.
I'm stepping away now and I plan to be back on the board on Tuesday after spring practice. I'll see everyone then.
