Shortly after the Cotton Bowl debacle you made a post where you mentioned how USC spends a lot less money on strength and conditioning and recruiting than schools like Ohio State. I was wondering, what are your sources on that? Are these "fact" public knowledge?
I'm not in any way questioning the accuracy of what you wrote. I'm just trying to understand whether this is something that is publicly known or can otherwise be proven, is one of those "whisper facts" that everybody knows, but no one can definitively say how they know. Are there "on the record" articles, whether on this site or another media source, that discuss this? If someone could post links to such articles, that would be greatly appreciated.
To me, this should be somewhat of a mini-scandal if true. Given all the gouging that USC has placed upon USC football fans, this should be somewhat of a scandal. To shortchange critical aspects of the USC football program while asking us fans to pay higher ticket prices and thousands in "Colluseum renovation" donations is outrageous.
