News from Monday's practice...

Shoulder pads and shorts today.

Justin Davis (hamstring), Viane Talamaivao (hamstring), John Plattenburg (hip) and Rasheem Green (knee) remained out. Sark said Davis is getting closer to returning.

Dom Davis suffered a bruise near his tailbone and was unable to finish practice. He was trying to come down with a pass in the corner of the end zone and landed hard on his back.

Noah Jefferson also did not finish because of a hyper-extended elbow. He was sporting a brace and ice pack for the second half of the workout.

Quinton Powell also seemed to have been nicked up in some sort.

Chad Wheeler participated in some of the team periods, as the first-string left tackle. He said he's able to do just about everything outside of drills involving falling toward the knees. With Wheeler in the lineup, Toa Lobendahn spent a good portion of practice at right guard.

Nico Falah, who worked quite a bit at tackle in spring, has worked exclusively at guard thus far.

Practice again lasted two hours and 30 minutes. There was a decent amount of contact. Sark said there were a few more mental errors as players were feeling the fatigue from the first two days.

The Tuesday and Wednesday practices, both open to the public, have been moved from 7 p.m. to 5:30.
