News updates from today's practice ...
JuJu Smith-Schuster did not practice today. He attended midway through with his right arm in a sling and hand in a cast. Clay Helton says whether JuJu plays will come down to pain tolerance. If he can't go Saturday, they're hopeful he'll play next Friday at Colorado. (From the looks of it, I'd be very surprised if he played Saturday.)
Jonathan Lockett did not practice. Helton said he had a groin injury and might return later this week.
Claude Pelon (knee) and Jordan Simmons (knee) did a little work today. Pelon has not practiced since the Washington game. Simmons has been sidelined since fall practice.
Su'a Cravens said he was feeling no ill effects from getting hit in the elbow with a helmet in the fourth quarter vs. Cal.
Adoree' Jackson practiced exclusively on defense.
Tyler Petite (foot) was a full participant and said he feels 100 percent.

Kevon Seymour stayed after practice for more than 20 minutes to work on techniques.
Helton revealed that the team has been conducting 45-minute practices on Monday beginning the week of the Notre Dame game, which was also the day Steve Sarkisian was fired. The "developmental" practices are for players who get less reps during week or are redshirting. The rest of team is in the weight room.
