Football Report: Former quality control assistant suing USC

The L.A. Times is reporting former defensive analyst Rick Courtright is suing USC, alleging that he lost his job after reporting violations involving DC Clancy Pendergast.

The university provided TrojanSports with the following statement:

"USC is investigating the allegations in the lawsuit. The university strives to ensure compliance with NCAA rules.”
