Hard fought for USC . They led 33-30 at the half and it was 46-49 with 10 minutes to go. Then the big boys of AZ took over. The difference: 42-19 in rebounds. Arizona also had 13 Offensive rebounds to USC 5. USC shot only 26% of threes.
Ayers is 7-1 and 260, Rustic is 7-0 245. Metu is 6-11, 225 and Racocevic is 6-11, 215. If this were a boxing match they would have been in different weight classes. Centers versus Stretch fours. Just saying.
Here's the tale of the tape…the Arizona titans (Ayton and Rustic) had 48 points of the teams 75 points .And 16 of the 26 points AZ made after that 10 minute left mark. Raco and Metu had 7 fouls and the Az duo had 3.
Ayers is my #1 pick if I'm a NBA GM in the draft. He is Dwight Howard strong but can actually hit a shot mid range and hit FTs. I think he is worth $100K in college. Just kidding…maybe.

Overall good job by USC. Not the best ending although I don't believe that helps or hinders USC's seed in the NCAA. I still say a 9 seed.
