Like many of you, I've had more than a few wedding/gameday conflicts over the years. My fav was in 2010 when my wife's college roommate decided to get married for the THIRD time in Seal Beach on the day of the WA game. After the small, beachfront ceremony, we all moved to Don the Beachcomber restaurant/bar. Following dinner, I moseyed over to the bar to watch the game. After a few minutes, an old-timer sat next to me, and we soon began talking about the game. Come to find out his name was Art Snyder; some of you viejos may remember that name. He was a USC law school graduate, a former City Councilman from '67-'85, and owner of Don the Beachcomber. We spent an enjoyable hour talking USC football and City politics.
