It was sort of an ominous response given that I asked if the redshirt junior linebacker was declaring for the NFL Draft (in light of a report stating he might go pro). This suggests his eligibility could be in question.
This afternoon on Trojan Talk, his father refuted the suggestion that Felix was receiving improper benefits and asserted "he's not entering the draft."
Moreover, Felix recently expressed his excitement on Twitter over returning to USC for a final season.
The deadline to declare for the draft is Monday, Jan. 18. In late December, Coach Clay Helton said Su'a Cravens was the only Trojan he expected to forgo his senior season.
