Helton will Be HC unless he fails to do his job!
There's absolutely no need to rush on this unless there's a high caliber coach that is not working at the moment.
Gruden would be a fool to take this gig right now and I'm not sure it would be an ideal fit for multiple reasons, not mentioning. ESPN contract and $ to just name a couple.
Coach O or Clancy are not coming.
CHIP KELLY would be ideal but he has complete control of the Eagles and makes a ton of dough! However, where there's smoke the very could be a fire here. And I do like CHIP.
This is not going to be easy! There will be a lot of great coach's that will be approached for the job, but most if not all will use this as leverage to get more $ from their current school or owner and potentially those will receive contract extensions immediately. When you pass on a Del Rio and take a drunk without doing much background work on SS drunk will backfire every time. SS drunk had a terrible past while at UW outside of football. Both with alcohol and female students.
The thing I worry about most is our current players, recruits and their families!
Being on the field with the team on Thursday certainly raised some serious red flags, as the team was not there. Positive attitudes bring positive results, especially with this talent.
Pat has made some poor choices and bad decisions so it will be interesting to see if he still remains at SC come next fall. Only time will tell.
This is not something we need to rush or get all irate on the boards for.... What's been done is done!
Let's just pray they get this right, for the sake of us all and the players!
