For all you guys clamoring for a USC guy or looking to rally around Helton, think bigger. I love Helton, the guy's been a rock and a quality quarterback coach imo. But it's time to expand your horizons and think big.
This is USC, a top 4 job in College Football. There will be interest as long as Haden doesn't try to put qualifiers on it.
It will be the top job opening this offseason especially with the current roster, credit to Sark and company for that. What job will be better? Texas? Rebuilding job. Tennessee? Fantastic roster but not as good at qb, not as good in-state recruiting, guantlet of the SEC. The only job that might challenge USC for the top spot is Georgia but we all know Mark isn't getting fired.
